Udyog Aadhaar (MSME) Registration

Udyog Aadhaar (MSME) registration is a certificate given to micro, small, medium-sized businesses in India under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Act, 2006. Not all businesses can obtain Udyog Aadhaar registration. Only those entities that are classified as a micro, small or medium enterprises based on their investments in plant and machineries are eligible for the registration.


For manufacturing sectors, investments in plant & machinery up to INR 25 lakhs are considered as Micro Enterprises. Investments in plant & machinery up to INR 5 Cr are considered as Small Enterprises and investments in plant & machinery up to INR 10 Cr are considered as Medium Enterprises.


For services sector, investments in equipment up to INR 10 lakhs are considered as Micro Enterprises. Investments in equipment up to INR 2 Cr are considered as Small Enterprises and investments in equipment up to INR 5 Cr are considered as Medium Enterprises.


Documents Required For Udyog Aadhaar Registration:


  1. Aadhaar Card of the promoters
  2. PAN of the entity
  3. Cancelled cheque or Bank Statement of the entity
  4. Proof of registered office
